The Kingfisher is a small to medium sized birds. There are 2-3 types of Kingfisher in our country. One is small size and another are medium size. Their colors are different and it is called a hunting bird.
In our country we naturally find small size Kingfisher but sometimes we find the another. They have different color, but naturally the colors are blue, yellow, white and black mixed. It grows to approximately 10-40 centimeters with his stubby tails.
The Kingfisher has large heads, long & sharp bills, short legs and stubby tails. It looks very beautiful. It has medium sized black eyes and all the time looking for food. Its main food is fish and all the time it tries to hunt fish with its long bills.
We naturally find it in the small trees beside ponds or rivers. Kingfisher stays these types of place and looking for fish. When he got any chance, he caught this fish.
