The most remittance earning sector in Bangladesh is garments sectors. 1977-1978 is the beginning time for the sector. RIAZ GARMENTS, DESH GARMENTS, AND STYLECRAFT are the pioneer garments industry. They started the business. Now this is the most reliable sector for earning foreign exchange.
Many peoples are working in this sector. Not only earning remittance, this has a great contribution to solving the unemployment problem. This sector provides job for those peoples, whose are not too much educated or uneducated.
In Bangladesh, there have more than 5000 garments factory and more than 12 lakhs peoples are working there. The matter of surprise the 85% of those peoples are women! They are doing their job with a great responsibility. It's mean 85% of foreign currency earned by women from this sector.
The day is not so far when Bangladesh will become the leading export country, after overcoming all kinds of problem
